Each month, WISE selects a member of the community to share their sales knowledge and story. We are excited to announce Alix de Gramont as our September 2024 Member of the Month! She joined the WISE community in early 2024.
Why did you join WISE?
When I made a switch to Sales a few years ago after starting my career in Operations and Organizational Change Management, I was naturally looking to get more integrated into the Sales community. After some searching, I found WISE to be the only group that offers this level of accessibility, personal interaction, and practical resources.
What are you looking forward to this fall?
Fall is always a busy time for Qarik as we kick off new projects and start planning for the following year, and this year is no exception. We have a packed schedule of events which will keep me on the road with my customers—where I most like to be—through the end of October. In November, I'll start shifting gears and winding down travel, as I am expecting a baby boy in mid-December!
What's the most helpful piece of career advice you've ever received?
At C Space, where I worked prior to Qarik, we had a saying: “Relationships are the source of results.” I still haven't found myself in a situation where that was not true, and I am lucky to have continued my career at a company that feels the same. Whenever I have felt stuck in my career, whether in an operations role or a sales role, I have—time and time again—been able to re-center myself with this piece of wisdom.
